What is Mediation


Many people nowadays use word meditation in normal life for daydreaming or thinking something, but meditation has nothing to do with dreaming or thinking.
Meditation is a mental exercise in which we either focus on 1 or 0. Focusing on 1 means that we focus on one thing like we can count our breath we can focus on that while meditating we have to focus only on one thing , 0 means focusing on nothing we have to get rid of all our thoughts, tension , future , past, present we have to divert our mind from all worldly activities.
Meditation is about turning our focus inward to mind itself. It is conscious attempt to shift your focus from every unnecessary thought.Some people believe that meditation can make person aware about its surrounding without judging it, its like you know someone is doing something you just you don't judge thing like why this thing is happening is it good or bad, you are conscious about movement but you cut your reasoning to judge things happening around you.
It can also be defined as  usual technique of discipline your mind to concentrate and redirect your thoughts. You can use it to improve awareness of yourself and your surroundings. Numerous community think of it as a path to lessen stress and develop concentration.
Ideal surrounding for meditation-People usually choose quite or peaceful place , as it is a individual practice which need focus and concentration, peaceful environment provide great help.Mediation is done with close eyes and still body , as less movement is helpful and close eyes can divert your attention from unnecessary things.
